Principals

Edward A. Coach, CPA, Partner, & Founder
Ed received his B.S. degree in accounting from King’s College in 1970.  Ed started his career with the accounting firm William H. Johnson, CPA.  Ed started a sole practitioner practice in 1977 and later formed the accounting firm Coach, Kopko, Shorts, & Reid LLP. Ed sits on an advisory board for his church and a local bank. Ed also taught accounting at King's college. Ed is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants. 

Christopher V. Kopko, CPA & Partner
Chris received his B.S. degree in accounting from King’s College in 1987.  Chris started his career with the accounting firm Edward A. Coach, CPA in 1983, and he has been a partner in Coach, Kopko, Shorts, & Reid LLP since 2000. Chris is a past board member for a local little league organization. He has also coached youth baseball and basketball teams. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants.

William P. Shorts, Partner
Bill received his B.S. degree in accounting from King’s College in 1987.  Bill started his career with the accounting firm Edward A. Coach, CPA in 1987, and he has been a partner in Coach, Kopko, Shorts, & Reid LLP since 2000.  Bill is a current board member for a local little league organization.  He has also coached youth baseball and basketball teams. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants.

Philip D. Reid, CPA and Partner
Phil received his B.A. degree in mathematics from Oberlin College in 1990. Phil started his career with the accounting firm Edward A. Coach, CPA in 1993, and he has been a partner in Coach, Kopko, Shorts, & Reid LLP since 2000.  Phil sits on an administrative board for his church and a local choral arts society.  Phil is a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants.

Our staff is the backbone of our organization.  Each person is educated and has numerous years of experience in the accounting industry.  They are dedicated to our clients, and they assure our clients receive their accounting services in a timely manner. Our staff is dedicated to our team approach.
